Me and my man
Isn't this hilarious? This is the "Shepherd doll" given to us by the hospital after Shepherd got trached. It was given so that the boys could get used to the idea. Aslan loves it. In this pic, pretend Shep is copying real Shep.

This is mostly just a pic post. I haven't had the time to have articulate thoughts.
I have, on the other hand, had the time to get bitten by a spider. I am finally going to go to the doctor tommorrow, now that I'm pretty convinced that's what it is.
I'd appreciate your prayers. It looks like it was a venomous spider, and of course everything I'm reading on line is pretty much horrific. Please pray that it can be dealt with swiftly and....uh...painlessly. Or at least not too painfully.
A venomous spider bite. huhh. You gotta be kidding me right? So back to the docs I go, only this time for me.
I'll let you know.

he is getting cuter and cuter all the time...and big too! Yay Shepherd =)
Praying for your spider bite to get taken care of easily and painlessly!
Love you,

Love the pics! He's getting to be such a big boy!
Will be praying for him and you.

I stumbled across your blog and noticed your son has a coarc. I did not look around to get details of his chd. My 14 1/2 year old is a chd survivor and had a coarc ,hypoplastic transverse aortic arch, bicuspid aortic valve and enlarged left ventricle. I hope you are doing ok after the spider bite. You have a beautiful family. We have a 12 year old daughter that had a VSD and our youngest son is 10 and he just has a heart murmur. I joke that if we had another the heart would have been good. My husband did not think it was a good idea so our family is complete at 3.
