It's busy here on the CICC floor. I go from suctioning to pumping to rounds to physical therapy to feeding. Then I eat, maybe some time with the boys and then I get to sleep sometime between midnight and 2am depending on Shepherd's needs. I love that he's well enough for me to take care of him, though.  Our day's have mostly consisted of me at the hospital 24 hours a day, now and Noah with the boys at the RMH or WF. His needs continue to be meds and feeding. They also took some new cultures now that he's off the anti fungals for the yeast. They want to make sure that there isn't any lingering yeast. Especially with all of his blood clots, yeast could colonize very quickly. Please continue to pray about his eating. We work on it daily. It seems to be a mixture of a major learning curve and his throwing up causing an oral aversion. He'll get it eventually, though. It's just a matter of how long the road and what path to take. God only knows. And if I've learned anything, it's to trust his path.

We had the amazing treat of spending the afternoon with all of my family at Umstead park. We grilled hamburgers and hot dogs and let the kids run wild. It was SOOOOOOO refreshing. I miss them so much. I can't believe how wonderfully our families have blessed us during this time. What am I saying? Yes, I can believe it. It's just like them. Here are some pics of the fun. Isn't God kind to design the family unit? What a great gift.

Where my girls at???!?!??????? I sure do miss this sassy gang!

And finally.... The official graduation photo. It's hard to believe my husband finally got to wear a hat with a book on the top (Aslan's perception)

Stephanie, I am really enjoying all the pictures you put up!! Your family is so precious to me. I have been praying for sweet Shepherd and your family. I hope his eating improves soon - I will pray specifically for that. If I can do anything for your family, I'm only a phone call away. I love you!

I love your blog! You are such a great writer and I am encouraged by your faith and trust in the Lord. By the way, Megan A and I went to Nantucket Grill and had their strawberry shortcake per your suggestion. You are right, it was amazing! :) Praying for you guys and little Shep!
